I took the photo that inspired this painting (see last image) in Death Valley National Park, California. This particular scene shows Salt Creek, home of the rare Desert Pupfish, and the surrounding badlands. I loved the otherworldly colors in the salty badlands. This original painting measures 5" x 5", and is made using gouache paint on acid free, cold press heavyweight watercolor paper. It is sold in a white mat that brings the overall size to 8x8”. I am able to assist with framing if desired, just message me to discuss. Shipping is free.
